No more discounted gorilla permits

All those planning to trek mountain gorillas in Uganda should know that no more discounted gorilla permits for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. Since 2014, Uganda government through Uganda Wildlife Authority have been offering discounted gorilla permits at USD450 but this will stop and in 2018 onwards no more discounted gorilla permits in Uganda.

No more discounted gorilla permits in 2018

Many tourists have been enjoying discounted gorilla permits in the months of April, May and November termed as low seasons but from 2018 going forward, the price of gorilla permits will be the same for all months. (January to December). All those still interested in benefiting from the low season rates for gorilla permits should plan to travel in November 2017 where gorilla permits are still at USD450.00.

Despite the fact that no more discounted gorilla permits in 2018, Uganda remains one of the most affordable destinations for gorilla trekking. Rwanda another country with mountain gorillas recently increased price of their gorilla permits from USD750.00 to USD1500 making themselves the most expensive gorilla trekking country in the whole world. Uganda not to flow suites has instead no more discounted gorilla permits in 2018 but has maintained the price for all months at USD700.00.
