Overview
This is a game Safari and Gorilla trekking. Lake Mburo National Park is very close to Kampala/Entebbe as it is only 4hours drive. Lake Mburo is endowed with several wildlife species to mention recently translocated giraffes, buffaloes, elands, waters bucks, antelopes, zebras, oribis, topis , warthogs as you take a boat cruise on lake Mburo you will be in position to observe , hippos and crocodiles. In addition, the park also is home a wide a ray of birds amounting to 350 species some which include water birds, forest and savanna birds. You will visit the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking and optional community visit.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrival
- You’ll be picked up from the airport (or hotel)
- Accommodation before the tour departs can be arranged for extra cost
DAY 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat cruise and Evening game drive
Today, you will meet your guide and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, you will stop at the Equator arriving at the Lodge in time for Lunch, later you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Lake. The cruise on the lake equally guarantees one a view of the amazing flora and fauna at the national park alongside wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos and bird species such as African fish eagles, pelican, king fishers, herons, cormorants, rare shoe bills and hammer kobs. It’s also realized that during the dry seasons, some wildlife also are frequent habitants o the water areas some of which include buffaloes and antelopes. In the evening you will proceed for an evening game drive for more chances of wildlife viewing.

DAY 2: Morning game drive and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today after an early breakfast, you will do a morning game drive for chances of more wildlife Later proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have en-route lunch as well. The drive time from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda is between 6 hours. Although it may seem quite a long drive, it is worth it because you get to enjoy the countryside scenery with some of the most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you and your driver will definitely stop if you need him to, so that you can capture that beautiful moment.

DAY 3: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi
After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Park Headquarters for briefing and joining others for briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can last for between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behavior, taking photographs before you return to the Park Headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda. Overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tervan Lodge.

Meals: Full Board
DAY 4: Return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
After your breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe for your post-tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda on the last day of your tour. Since you will use the same route back, you will have another stop at the Equator crossing for photo moments, buying souvenirs or to just relax before continuing to Kampala/Entebbe.

Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari Vans customized for game viewing and photography. Each safari van comes with a professionally trained driver guide and fuel for the whole safari. Our Safari vans have viewing hatches and each client is entitled to a window seat. Our Vans can take up to eight people. We also have 4×4 Super Customs very comfortable and stable on the road. These carry up to 5 people with their luggage. We also have 4×4 RAV 4 for a group of two people
UPGRADE: 4X4 LUXURY SAFARI LANDCRUISER
We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop-up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while IN THE VEHICLE). They have inverters for charging small gadgets such as your smartphones and cameras. They can seat five to a maximum of seven people and each client is guaranteed of a window seat.
