Uganda is recommended for tourists who are budget conscious and are looking at a variety of activities to do before or after the primate trek. Rwanda is more of a luxury destination and the best primate trek destination for tourists who are looking at splashing and don’t mind about their budget.

The primate experience in Rwanda is more expensive as compared to Uganda and this is because of the cost of the trekking permit in the individual countries, accommodation, transport, and other services. Rwanda is known to be a luxury safari destination and this is part of the effort of the government of Rwanda to make the country a higher end tourism industry.
