Enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile river to the bottom of the falls and game drives in this Savannah National Park giving you an opportunity to see the Big 4 animals.


Murchison Falls located in the northern part of Uganda is the largest conservation area at 3840. The park is traversed by the mighty River Nile and is one of the exciting National Park to visit during your Uganda safari. Murchison Falls National Park has several vegetation types ranging from swamps, and animals like lions, hyenas, buffaloes, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, the rare shoebill stock, small primates and other savannah, marine and forest species. Visitors to Murchison Falls National Park should not miss out on spectacular game drives and boat cruises to the base of the falls and delta. One may need 2 to 4 days to explore Murchison Falls National Park.


  • Day One: Domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park for an evening game afternoon game drive.
  • Day Two: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls.
  • Day Three: Delta cruise, Visit the top of the falls and evening game drive
  • Day Four: Morning game drive and transfer to the Airstrip for your internal flight to Entebbe

DAY 1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park.

Our guide will pick you and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Murchison Falls National Park landing at Pakuba Airstrip. Upon landing, our guide/vehicle will transfer you by road to your respective overnight Lodge. After lunch and a short rest, you will then go for an evening game drive in search for savannah wild game and depending on your luck, you may spot several animals which may include, herds of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and big cats like lions and leopards. Return to your lodge of overnight

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Lodge: Paraa Safari Lodge\Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Flight time: one to one and half hours.

DAY 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on the Nile river to the bottom of the falls

Early morning cup of tea/breakfast and you head off for yet another game drive in search for animals you could have missed in your previous game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to the pier for a 2 hour boat cruise on River Nile. River Nile is the major north-flowing river and believed to be the longest in the whole world.It is 6,853km (4,258)miles long and it is shared by eleven countries.While on this boat, you can sport several water birds,hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and so many animals that visit this river for drinking water.Return to your overnight Lodge.

DAY 3: Delta Cruise on the Nile and afternoon game drive.

Early morning departure from the lodge with picnic Lunch and transfer to catch the morning boat at the Jetty point. While on this boat cruise, you can spot several herds of buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Giraffes, Elephants, and several other wild animals that flock the River Nile to drink water. Not forgetting the several bird species that can as well be spotted while on the boat. You will in the afternoon have a game drive as you head to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 4: Fly back to Entebbe

After breakfast and if you are booked on the morning scheduled internal flight, you will transfer to Pakuba Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe. If you are booked on an afternoon flight, you may choose to do a game drive before flying back to Entebbe

This is a private safari and is available upon request. It can be tailored to suite your needs and preferences. We can as well change accommodation/Lodges mentioned in the itinerary to the ones that you prefer. Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari Vans customized for game viewing and photography. Each safari van comes with a professionally trained driver guide and fuel for the whole safari. Our Safari vans have viewing hatches and each client is entitled to a window seat. Our Vans can take up to eight people. We also have 4×4 Super Customs very comfortable and stable on the road. These carry up to 5 people with their luggage. We also have 4×4 RAV 4 for a group of two people


We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop-up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while IN THE VEHICLE). They have inverters for charging small gadgets such as your smartphones and cameras. They can seat five to a maximum of seven people and each client is guaranteed of a window seat.
