What is the price of gorilla trekking permits in Bwindi and Mgahinga?
A gorilla permit is a card issued by Uganda wildlife Authority and allows the cardholder to spend one hour with habituated mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be accessed by road or Air and one has a choice to pass via Rwanda Kigali or Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Kigali to Bwindi route will take you 4-5 hours while Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable National Park is about 8-10 hours drive. Internal flights are available daily and they take approximately 2 hours from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi airstrip and Kisoro Airstrip depending on the region you will be visiting.
