Four gorillas Lodge Bwindi is luxurious, elegant, romantic, affordable and beautiful lodge located in the gorillas’ richest Rushaga region of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The Lodge is a wilderness paradise far from the madding crowds and you will have an incredible experience. The soaring ceilings, massive exposed wooden beams – panoramic windows that make for endless views of treetops that soothe the soul of the African safari enthusiast.
Rooms and Rates.
Four gorillas Lodge has eight spacious and comfortable en-suite rooms, each installed with ambient lighting, constant hot and cold water showers, flushing toilets and 24 hour room service. The interior of both the cottages and the main building are blended up with modern and traditional designs coupled with beautiful timber finishing that provides a cozy, homely atmosphere. According to the 2020 Lodge rate card, the single room costs USD400 per night, double room costs USD500 per night and a triple room costs USD650 per night. The rates are based on Full board meal plan basis.
How to access Four Gorillas Lodge
You can access Four Gorillas lodge from Kampala/Entebbe by road transport which is approximately 8-9 hours using Kampala-Kabale road, having stops at the Equator and en-route lunch in Mbarara and there is a lot to see on the way namely Plantations, hills, swamps, rivers and lakes. You can as well have a road trip from Kigali Rwanda to the lodge which is about 4-5 hours’ drive through Katuna boarder between Uganda and Rwanda. You can opt to fly, there are daily domestic flights from Entebbe International Airport and Kajjansi Airstrip to Kisoro Airstrip in Kisoro district which is very close to Bwindi. It is only about 2hours to reach the lodge.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Four gorillas Lodge is just a few minutes’ walk to the Rushaga Park Headquarters’ where gorilla tracking activity starts from. Gorilla trekking is visiting the rare mountain gorillas in their natural environment as you view their beauty, the way they move, feed, and live. The gorillas are known to have 99% of the human DNA and are amazing to Watch. Only eight visitors are allowed to visit per pay for only one hour of Viewing once you find the gorillas.
Gorilla Habituation experience
Gorilla habituation experience is an activity in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where tourists are allowed to stay four hours with mountain gorillas after meeting them in the forest, the permits costs USD1500.00, We do organize Gorilla habituation safaris to Bwindi for an ultimate experience.

While on your vacation, we encourage you to explore by taking a beautiful walk through various trails in the forest. You can also reach to the river Bubale in the lower parts of the Four Gorillas lodge, listen to sounds birds singing as you move through the forest around the lodge, and have sights of other animal species present in the area. Batwa Cultural Encounter
The Batwa tribe is one indigenous tribe in Uganda and will introduce you to a unique African culture to complete your visit.
