The drive from Entebbe airport or Kampala city to Bwindi impenetrable National park is about 530 km lasting about 8 hours to 9 hours. This drive is scenic especially the Kigezi highlands that you pass by, the Equator and other amazing features along the way.

The cost of gorilla trekking permits
Rwanda gorilla trekking permit costs $ 1500 per person per trek whereas the Uganda gorilla trekking permit costs $700 per person per trek.
Whether you trekking gorillas in Uganda or Rwanda, you need to book your permit in advance because they are limited to maximum 8 permits per gorilla family per day. Only paying clients are given chance to secure their gorilla permits on first come first served basis
You need to reserve your gorilla trekking permit atleast 90 days to the date of trekking to avoid last minute panic in obtaining these permits. the gorilla permits are highly demanded yet there supply is limited to 8 permits per gorilla family.
The means of transport to get to the gorilla trekking destinations

What To pack For gorilla Trekking In Uganda and Rwanda
- An extra battery to exchange with in case one runs low while in the forest
