Where to find habituated chimpanzees in Uganda

On a daily, all tourists will be transferred to the headquarters of each National Park where you will be met by park officials for registration and then briefing about the dos and don’ts while with chimpanzees. In Uganda the Kibale National park chimpanzee briefing point is at Kanyanchu Visitor center and in Nyungwe forest National Park at Uwinka.
After briefing you will then be assigned a ranger guide who will trek with you in the forest until you find a community or part of chimpanzees.
