The safari cost to Serengeti National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, and Mombasa coast varies with the package you travel. At Encounter Africa Safaris, we package our safaris according to Luxury, mid-range, and basic.
Some of the items considered when costing safaris to Masai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, and Mombasa Beach experience include the number of days on safari, people traveling with, activities to engage in , accommodation choice you choose, time of booking, and much more.
At Encounter Africa Safaris, we can tailor custom-made African safaris to suit our clients' needs and interests. We aim to make our clients' dreams come true and offer an unforgettable experience.
Although both Kenya and Tanzania safari destinations are open all year, the dry seasons are best preferred. The dry season normally is the high tourist season in both Kenya and Tanzania that is June, July, August, September, October , December, and January.
The environment in both Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve favors the wild animals in these game parks to meander in the parks. The grass is lower and chances of spotting these animals in action are more open.
While on a game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve or Serengeti National Reserve, the tracks in the parks are also quicker to navigate.
Note that the high season calls for more people in the park, so expect to share the same space with others. Competition for logistics that support these safaris is high, and options for services like accommodation, vehicle hire, driver guide hire, and others run low as the season unfolds.
While at the beach in Mombasa, the dry season also gives a better experience of the Indian Ocean. The water is sparkling deep blue, and you can enjoy different outdoor activities at the coast.
During the low season in Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve, chances of spotting new births are more open. The low season is usually March, April, May and November but this serves as the wet season too. Since there are less people booking safaris, chances of having exclusive time in these game parks are possible.
At the beach on Mombasa, there is a less population of tourists to disrupt your get away in the low season.
On the ground are well-trained Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority ranger guides in Serengeti National Park and Kenya Wildlife Service ranger guides in Masai Mara National Reserve. They are there to protect the wild animals, their inhabitants, and tourists.
The range guides of each country closely work with other security agencies of their countries to keep law and order in and around the parks.
Mind your personal security while on safari so as not to fall victim to unsafety. Ensure you do not hang around with your precious valuables that may attract the wrong company. During the game drives, follow the rules, like not getting out of your jeep, not mimicking wild animals because you are not sure of what you are saying, and much more.
If you are not a good swimmer, do not attempt to get deeper into the ocean while on holiday in Mombasa because you may drown and never be found.
If you have children on safari, ensure they are under your supervision all the time so that they do not wander into the wilderness or get kidnapped while on holiday in Mombasa.
While driving in the game parks, do not go off track. Otherwise, you could land in a terrible location, get into an accident, or knock down an animal.
While at the lodge, donot get out in the night when in the game parks or you may make a meal for the wild animals.
Children are allowed on safari in the game parks of Kenya and Tanzania as long as they are in the company of a responsible adult. Ensure you brief the children before travelling for a safari in Africa so that they are not shocked on the ground. There are no toilet breaks while on a game safari in Serengeti National Park or Masai Mara National Reserve because you are not sure of what is watching from afar.
If your country of origin requires a Visa to Enter Kenya and Tanzania, you need to purchase the tourist Visa in advance to avoid inconvenience on arrival. Although visas can be obtained at immigration, the long lines at arrival are disturbing, especially after long flights.
