The best time to book your Christmas gorilla and chimp habituation experience safari is now. During December and xmas time, gorilla and chimp permits both for the normal trekking and habituation experience tend to sell out quickly. December is one of the busiest seasons when it comes to gorilla and chimp trekking safaris in Uganda. This is because it is a festive season as well as winter in Europe. People tend to flock Uganda for holiday something that leads to scarcity of gorilla and chimp permits. It is therefore advised to book your Christmas gorilla and chimp habituation experience safari at least 5 months in advance. The most important component of this are permits. Bearing in mind that only 4 people are allowed to visit a given gorilla family under habituation, it limits the number of permits available for the day. The same thing applies to the chimp habituation experience where the number is also limited to 6 people for half a day. Once permits are secured, the rest is simple to handle.
