A chimpanzee habituation permit costs USD220.00 compared to USD150.00 for chimpanzee trekking permit but still people prefer chimpanzee habituation experience due to the fact that you get to spend more time with chimpanzees under habituation (whole day experience), you get to chat and share experience with the researchers and above all get to participate in major activities of habituating chimpanzees in Kabale National Park. If one books chimpanzee permits, he/she will be entitled to viewing habituated chimpanzees only for one hour compared to full day experience. An additional USD70.00, one can upgrade to chimpanzee habituation experience to enjoy a full day primate habituation experience in Kibale National Park.
