  • Only one hour is allowed with the gorillas when you locate them during gorilla trekking.
  • Loud noise is forbidden in the forest because this may scare the lowland gorillas. They are very sensitive to unfamiliar noise in their presence. 
  • Even using flash photography is prohibited because the lowland gorillas may go into hiding because of unfamiliar light.
