3Day 2nights Lake Nakuru Safari itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and afternoon game drive

• Morning: Today, you will transfer from Nairobi and enjoy a scenic short drive of about 3 hours through the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a viewpoint for panoramic photos.
• Afternoon: You will arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. Check in and rest and then head out for a late afternoon game drive to see some of the park's wildlife, including the critically endangered black rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. This will be your first game drive in Nakuru.
• Evening: You will return back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
• Accommodation: The Cliff Nakuru or Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge or Nakuru Sopa Lodge
• Meal Plan:  Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Full Day game drives to explore Lake Nakuru National Park

• Morning:  You will go on an early morning game drive to look for predators like lions and the elusive leopard, who are most active at dawn. You will stop at the shores of Lake Nakuru to witness the spectacle of thousands of pink flamingos (conditions permitting) and other bird species.
• Afternoon:  You will have a delicious picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the Park, such as Baboon Cliff, which offers breathtaking views of the lake and its surroundings.
• Evening: Return back to your hotel for dinner. If you choose a night drive option with a park ranger, you can see nocturnal animals like hyenas and civets.
• Accommodation: The Cliff Nakuru or Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge or Nakuru Sopa Lodge
• Meal Plan:  Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Visit the Waterfall and departure

• Morning: After an early breakfast, you will take one last game drive in Nakuru National Park. You also visit the seasonal Makalia Waterfalls in the southern part of the park for a tranquil end to your safari.
• Departure: You will bid farewell to your hotel and drive back to Nairobi with beautiful memories of landscapes of Lake Nakuru.
