Things to consider

• Domestic flight: The internal flights should be booked in advance and the flight takes about 1hr30mins to Queen Elizabeth NP
• Airstrips in Queen Elizabeth NP: The Park now has only two functioning Airstrips namely Kasese Airstrip and Mweya Airstrip.
• Park Entrance fees: Every Visitor to the Park must Pay a daily park entrance, the cost USD40 for Non-Foreign residents, USD30 for East African Foreign Residents, and UGX20,000 for East African Citizens,
• Safari Vehicles: We use open-roof vehicles during game drives so as to have a good experience for Wildlife viewing.
• Packing List: Please ensure you have comfortable safari shoes, Camera, Binoculars, swimming costume.
• Age Limit: There is no age Limit for safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park provided children are in company of their Parents.
• Accommodation Options: Please choose the accommodation that suits your budget, Queen Elizabeth NP has all options of Budget, Midrange and Luxury.
• Best time to visit: Queen Elizabeth NP can be visited all year round, The most preferred time is June to September, December to February because they are the drier months of the year.
• Safari Guidelines: Uganda Wildlife Authority has rules and regulations to adhere while on your Safari, See regulations here.
• Game drives: Morning and afternoon game drives are done in the Mweya region, the Kasenyi plains is rich with wildlife including warthog, water buck, bush buck, leopard, Buffalos, Ugandan kob, elephants, countless bird species and Many others
• Boat cruise: You will enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world. Over 700 species can be spotted by kin birders on a good day and it is recorded that Kazinga channel is the widest natural water channel in the whole world as well. On your two hour boat cruise, you may encounter herds of elephant, buffalos and antelopes, families of warthogs, large groups of hippos, and crocodiles basking on the shore.
