This therefore means that Uganda Wildlife authority is committed to making Uganda an affordable tourism destination in the face of both domestic and international tourists. This exciting news were revealed by director of tourism business and development at Uganda Wildlife authority Mr. Raymond Engena why discussing issues affecting Uganda tourism during a Tourism Forum organized by Uganda Tourism Association which is the apex body of all private organizations in Uganda.

2017 Discounted chimpanzee permits for kibale NP at $100

Therefore starting April 2017, all tourists interested in trekking chimpanzees in Kibale National park will pay $100 instead of $150 which has been the official fee for trekking chimpanzees in Kibale National Park. This fee will only apply to the low season months of April, May and November 2016 and 2017 and with this move, it is hoped that tourist inflows will increase since discounts on both gorilla and chimpanzee permits will wow many tourists to visit Uganda and enjoy our low season and affordable rates provided by Uganda wildlife authority which is so far the major stakeholder in tourism development and conservation.
